Add your cask to the “Register Portfolio” section on the website. List as much information as possible and upload whatever documents you have associated with the cask. Once you have finished registering the cask, it can be listed amongst your other casks bought elsewhere, and when you choose to sell, you simply click “Sell cask.” After you pay a £90 listing fee, the cask details will go live on the secondary marketplace for potentially thousands to view. Potential buyers can make an offer which you can reject, counter, or accept. If they meet your asking price, you can agree to the sale. A payment link will be sent to the buyer and, once paid, those funds will be held in escrow while you transfer the ownership from the warehouse to them. This is something Cask Empire can help with.
You can choose entry-level casks from our inventory at Cask Empire, or purchase a resale cask from an existing client. Once you pay for the cask in full, Cask Empire will open an account at the warehouse for you at no extra cost. You can then view the performance of your entire portfolio, whether those casks are with Cask Empire or other companies, in your profile section on the website.
